Those ubercool folks at Getty have been running a Music/Video/Remix competition, aptly named mishmash.
Getty called for creatives to take their - getty’s – high res video, stills and music and turn them into something new. Tell a new story, put another spin on it, in a short video of between one and three minutes. The creatives who took part got access to great video from Universal Studios and Warner Brothers Film, as well as quirkier videos from Barcroft Media and our own best collections: one80, iStockFootage and Archive Films. There is little more defining than an image, apparently a picture is worth a thousand words, and no other entity defines an image as well as Getty.
